Esta é a sequela de 1996 SSI estratégia em tempo real do jogo War Wind. Ela continua a história de quatro raças de Yavaun agora enfrenta uma nova ameaça
pela invasão de seres humanos, que naufragou no planeta. A jogabilidade é muito semelhante à primeira parte da série, mas apresenta algumas pequenas modificações e aditamentos, bem como gráficos melhorados e sons.
